Beware the Hamburglar!

Smoke left the house early this morning to work on the Reno House so I went back to bed. When I finally got up, I felt lazy so I put on some work-out clothes, my tennis shoes and ankle weights. I wrestled Scooter into his harness and leash and off we went.

At first the walk was nice. Then the humidity struck and I was sweating. Note to self: Take a shower AFTER you walk, not before. But despite the heat, we did see this butterfly:

And I accidently took this picture of my feet:

Sometimes when I'm walking with the woods on my side, I worry abouit what might be in there. Not only do I think about wild dogs and bears, but things like Sasquatches and Mothmen. This is Smoke's fault. He makes us watch all the shows where they search for Big Foot, Mothman, Chupacabra, and the Hamburglar. So not only am I worried about real animals, I'm worried about mystical creatures and someone stealing my hamburgers.

Sasquatch

Speaking of animals, Scooter saw two squirrels. I could almost hear him say SQUIRREL!

After we got back from our walk, we hang out until Smoke calls me to come see what they'd done at the Reno House. They cleared out some of the outbuilding's that you couldn't see before because of the overgrowth.

Our special guest bathroom:

The kitten coop. I mean chicken coop, of course. Kittens would fit in there though...

Our guest house. Like if McDreamy walks into my trap, I can hold him prison--uh, if I just invite him to stay the weekend.

Most of the rest of the day was spent looking into blog options. I'm thinking of moving this one so I can do more things with it (like ads), but moving all of this posts would take forever and be a pain! So in the meantime, I'm still here. I promise I won't leave without telling you first!

In the meantime, watching out for the Hamburglar. I'm pretty sure he exists!

According to The Daily Beast, The Hamburgler is now gone, no worries.
